The Interview: Anna Delvey

As part of my ongoing series,“High School Days,” I’ll be interviewing people I find interesting about their own high school experiences.

To launch us into this exciting new frontier, here is my conversation with the one and only ANNA DELVEY…We met at Sunset Tower for brunch on the eve of Thanksgiving. Anna had come to LA to film the finale of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Ottessa Moshfegh: What kind of music were you listening to in high school?

Anna Delvey: Lots of Avril Lavigne, Sugababes.

OM: Did you watch TV?

AD: Yes. MTV, Comedy Central. I watched South Park, Kell on Earth, The Hills, The City, The Lives of the Rich and Fabulous, Pimp My Ride…
